Please don't do the whole "I need to lose weight as fast as possible!" thing. - You'll just put it all right back on, and that is unhealthy for your weight to fluctuate drastically like that. Eat a low carb diet - get some carbs in the morning (good carbs like slow cook oatmeal), then don't eat carbs for the rest of the day. Walk 2-3 miles a day. Drink lots of water.

You don't "suddenly" gain 17+ pounds ! The only way to lose weight is to cut down on junk foods, sweets, and soda...Sitting in front of the computer monitor isn't good either ! At 56 you should still be able to do alot of things. Go out for a brisk walk...Ride a bicycle...Go to the library and look for exercise books for people over 50. It will take time. You did'nt gain it over-night, you can't lose it over-night.

Hi,
I am close to your age and have slowly gained weight and got tired of trying different quick weight loss diets. I have heard that cleansing works better at getting rid of toxins that store in our fat cells hellping us loss weight faster. Last year I tried the Master Cleanse and lost weight fast but felt tired/weak and cold. I have found a better product which is not a fast called Isagenix. I am doing it now. My sponsor is a Naturopathic Doctor also middle age and is a wealth of information. I would love to have you take a look at this product. Feel free to get back to me if you're interested. Its called Isagenix and it is really growing fast with a great reputation.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

There is no faster diet than Kimkins. You can knock off 8 kg in about 2-3 weeks -- but it's a strict diet. Not for sissies.

- don't eat dessert (sorry, but that's why asians weigh slightly less=] )
- don't skip meals
- have a FULL breakfast; go easy on the other meals
- drink water
- since it's not practical for you to run, you can fast-walk around the park, take your dog out, stretch, bike (gym)... etc...
- DON'T SIT WHEN YOU CAN STAND!! ex: when you watch tv, just stand and stretch or move around
- eat up to 80% full and then stop... trust me, i can eat up to 200% full sometimes... lol...
- NO JUNK FOOD or SODA!!
GOOD LUCK! i'm sure u'll look awesome! and dont stop after the function!
