Another way to clean my retainer?

Is there a way to get a better clean out of my retainer without using just water and my toothbrush?

Makes sense to use a denture tablet because it does a better job getting all the plaque build up that a tooth brush can't.

I know this sounds strange, but my dentist recommended using denture tablets. You just drop one in a plastic container with a little water and the retainer. Let it sit for a few minutes and the bubbling action cleans everything.

Once in awhile I soak my retainer in a cup of water with a denture tab. It works really well.
