because my friend says her dog it diagonosed with HIV virus. and i wondering if this is true.

No but there is dog and cat VD and dogs and cats can get STDs (sexually transmitted diseases).

they can't get it but they do have viruses caused by mating. like parvo can be transferred or rabies can be depending if the dog is scruffed.
