You make good points. My problem with organized religion is that it has WAY too strong a grasp on some people. A lot of times I see questions here that ask, "What do you guys think about (insert any topic related to spirituality)?" -- and all too often, the answers you get are this: "Nope, I don't like it, because it's not in the Bible."
That's the mindset that people have. If it's not in the Bible, it has no value whatsoever. The truth is limited to that ONE holy book and all other holy books which may have different interpretations are totally worthless. -- I just don't think that's a healthy mindset to have. There's a lot of great stuff out there and people are missing it when they just delve right into one religion and never bother to look anywhere else. A lot of those Eastern religions and belief systems have some really valuable teachings, but nope... if it's not in the Bible, forget it. I just wish some people opened up a bit more.

Hi, I am Rational Spirituality,
I could not agree more with you on this point.
Originally people sought God within their hearts and in the nature, and a great deal of sound perceptions and knowledge about Divinity and the Univrese was developed and accumulated. It was genuine. But then organised religion came in, and turned that knowledge into a political instrument of power. That is when all the divisions had started, and where the "different" religious dogmas originated. Some religions became more plitically abused than others.
With the entry into the Spiritual Age, God is guiding us to reverse this process of diversification and alienation, and back to his true teachings, at a higher level than ever before. The time when all religions become stripped of the layers they do not need, and when pure Truth about God is all that there will be in the Belief, is in historical terms, very close.
You may find it both interesting and encouraging to read "Rational Spirituality" available on the Dhaxem website. Conveyed only in Februray 2006 by the Source, it is already a major force amongst the thinking and the genuine God seekers and followers.

Yes. People really should believe what they feel is right. Ideally, though, people would read all of the sacred texts and as many books as possible, and they'd talk to people different from them, and they'd make their decisions on life from those experiences.
But humans like the path of least resistance, and it's just easier to do what we're told.
Organized religion in itself is not inherently evil. It's what corrupt human beings do with it that is the problem.

properly you're able to additionally say If God gave us loose will, why does the government take it away by ability of making regulations. you're incredibly loose to do only approximately something you like, even homicide people. yet there will be repurcussions. government could have you ever arrested and thrown in detention center, and faith permit you to comprehend your soul is damned to hell. Neither took away your loose will nevertheless. They only help you comprehend what you should and should not do, after which you settle on in case you will obey, or face the threatened consequences in case you do not.

All religions are not true religion in the sense that not all religions worship God in the way he approves; not all religions have pure worship.Religion is a matter of choice and exercise of your free will. You exercise this free will aright, only if you let God direct your footsteps and you live your life in harmony with Divine principles. They are not perfect, for all have fallen short; but they stive to shun the works of the flesh."Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom." ---Galatians 5:19-21.
On the other hand, members of a true religion try hard and seek to cultivate the fruits of the spirit. "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Moreover, those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with its passions and desires. If we are living by spirit, let us go on walking orderly also by spirit. Let us not become egotistical, stirring up competition with one another, envying one another." ... Galatians 5, 22-26.
Members of a true religion have intense love among each other and they are in the world but not of the world. They do not fel superior to anybody and are blind to racial prejudices and injustices. These members have the holy Spirit that actuates their lives, provided that they are living their lives in harmony with God's commands. There are biblical guidelines that can help us choose a religion with pure worship. That religion has to imitate God. It has to imitate Jesus’ ways and practice what he taught. Not all religions are pleasing to God. According to Biblical teaching, only a few people are on the narrow road to life –Mathew 7:13,14.
True Christians according to John 13:34,35, must have real love among themselves, regardless of race, color and geographic location. They are all one people, They don’t consider themselves superior to others and they practice no hate.---Acts 10:34,24.
Members of a true religion base their teachings and religious learning on the Bible and they have very deep respect for it. The Bible is the inspired word of God and a true religion accepts and believes it ..-John 17:17, 2Timothy 3:16,17. To a member of such a true religion, God’s word is more important than human customs and ideas.-Mathew 15:1-3, Mathew 15:7-9. If you are in the Truth, you live your everyday life by the Bible.-Titus 1:15,16.
A True religion imitates Jesus. Jesus made God’s personal name known and True religion has to make God’s name known (John 17:6, 26; Romans 10:13,14) and must honor God’s name.-Mathew 6:9
Recall that Jesus taught about God’s kingdom and as imitators of Christ, true Christians must preach about God’s Kingdom.—Luke 8:1. Jesus commanded his disciples to preach the same message in all the earth.-Mathew 24:14; Mathew 28:19,20. True peace and security will only come during God’s Kingdom when Christ rules as King.---Psalm 146: 3-5
Members of a true religion are in the world but not of the world. They must be no part of the wicked world (John 16: 16). They are politically neutral and reject harmful conduct, practices and attitudes that are common in the world-James 1:27, James 4:4."
Find in your neighborhood, a religious body that meet the above criteria and join.
The reason for joining a body of Christians who has pure worship is justified by the Spiritual admonishments of Hebrew 10:24,25 –“And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as YOU behold the day drawing near.” Draw close to God and he will draw close to you.---James 4:8
