You get married because you love that person and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. You want to really love that person and you know you are meant to be with them. There is not a time limit on love. You just choose.

I got married because I love my husband, because I wanted to be married, and because I want to start a family. I was just ready for the next step in my life and found a great guy.
My husband and I dated over 3 years before we got married...engaged at almost 2 years together.

My wife and I share a very special emotional intimacy that has bloomed over the 3 1/2 years we dated before we married. She is everything that a man could ever want in a wife and I am truly blessed to be married to her. I don't always think that she's as lucky to be married to me but then again what do I know?

I got married because it was time.
I was single for a lot of my adult life and realized I wanted to fall in love and have a child.
I fell in love, again, with the same person I had fallen in love with years earlier. I was lucky that he was still there. WiseGuy was the best thing that ever happened to me besides my son.
Don't marry for anything other than love. And, when you do make it work don't just expect it to.

i got married, coz he asked me 2.
i said yes and have never regretted it all these years later.
i'd recommend marriage, but it helps if u both feel the same and really like each other, as well as love each other.
my husband is my best friend, an advisor and lover all rolled in2 1.

i was 18, thought i was in love, but looking back, i was only in lust...i did fall in love with her later though...then she kicked me out...oh well, what's 21 years?
