If teens engage in pre-marital sex just for the sake of experiencing what it feels like, they most probably will not enjoy the first time they have sex after they get married.
I feel sex shouldn't be just for fun. It should be kept for the one who you truly love. Sex can be enjoyable if done without any regrets. Usually people who engage in pre-marital sex might feel a sense of regret after what they have done.

The question has an inherent bias. What if the rise, or perceived rise, of premarital sex wasn't a deterioration of values, but rather an improvement in how we view sexuality? There's this perception that sex is somehow immoral, but it is a part of who we naturally are. Individuals aren't always sexually compatible, and the only way to find out if you are sexually compatible with the person you love is to practice safe sex. How horrible would it be to find out that the person you married is not sexually compatible with you? Talk about a tension filled marriage! Also, I don't believe that there's been an increase in the number of people having premarital sex. I believe more people are talking about it. Teens are going to have sex. The best thing we can do is help them make smart decisions rather than denying that it's going to happen.

What cave did you come out of? Premarital sex has been around since people. Only religious fanatics think it immoral and bad. The values haven't changed, only the realization that it's part of being human and if you ignore it, only mistakes will be made. Information about issues is always better than isolation from them.
My personal opinion...
Would you buy a car before taking a test drive?

If you are prepared to have intercourse with one of the opposite sex, each partner must be prepared to protect and nurture the child. Wearing protection to cheat nature and the value of life itself then you are also cheating yourself and family and community will not satisfy you in the end.
The problem is if one is not connected with their partner beyond the sex then you are placing pleasure and peer pressure ahead of
parenting, nurturing and the community in general.
Is someone who has other plans for their life like education or Carree etc ready to risk an abortion or destroy another child's life for momentary pleasure?
We as a species can't even decide how to get along with each other and especially the rest of nature. Sex has become a crutch, a drug or an escape.
Unless you are prepared to take full responsibility without question and within a caring and respectful relationship with each other, family and the community at large, no matter how you define it, you should not have sex.
Your pleasure and satisfaction will not ultimately come from
self indulgence at the expense of others.
There are fewer and fewer rules for the youth today as globalization destroys most of the local rules and cultures.
It does not mean you can ignore the underlying value and responsibility of creating life that is totally dependent on you.

You should wait it will be more special with the one you love and not just lust after. Premarital sex is a sin too. I just married last year and We are both 38. My husband was a virgin. I was married once before, but we both waited too. It's safer too, to many people lie about who they have been with and you don't know if they are telling the truth if they ever contracted a std.

Think about this, If you have sex with a guy (your first time) But, he has had sex with 10 women, you not only are having sex with him and those ten women, your having sex with all the men those women have had sex with.

There's always the battle between the hormones and giving yourself in love to one who is worthy. Premarital sex is neccesary in order to develope a maturity with these sexual issues. I think that you really need to know a person at a very intimate level before committing to marriage

premarital sex is a no-no for me. Sex is a form of disgrace unless it's after marriage. It is also a form of self-disrespect for you and the one you are doing it with. It's best to keep it in your head.

Premarital sex among teens can lead to pregnancy and STD's.

That written, it is better to be sexually active at fifteen than it is to be a virgin at fifty.

I think that people should wait until they are married to have sex. I mean if you dont wait until you are married, you will regret it. If you know you are going to marry that person and you feel you cant wait I think that its okay I guess. Its not really okay but I guess it will pass.
