Flat irons damage hair whether or not you have a relaxer, just use products to protect your hair.

Any type of heat used over time will eventually damage the hair. This is evidenced by split ends, or breakage. If you choose to flat iron, set it on the lowest heat possible to achieve the look you want. You may want to try "wrapping" your hair to achieve the same effect. Good luck!

Any kind of styling damages your hair...but hey...we have to look beautiful, right?
You need to get you a thermal protectant to either apply to your wet hair before you dry and style it, or you can get a spray that you use on your dry hair before you use your flat iron.

Your hair will fry... Don't do it...It is already relaxed.. Try a good moisturizer. Leave in I think is best. If you must flat iron, I wouldnt do it everyday. Once you've flat ironed your hair, wrap it to keep the style.
My cousin always said... If you can't grow it, sew it. If that don't do it. Glue it. You don't want those issues do you. Good luck...

Do use too much heat. Relaxer and intense heat will cause your hair to become dry, brittle and then it will break off. As long as you use a great hair dressing. It will be best to use a pressing comb. Do not use heat type appliance no more than twice a week.
