A true Christian can and must overcome sin. The power comes from faith in Jesus. The man that sinneth, he will die.

First let me define sin (missing the mark) the bible states that to know to do go and then don't is sin. If these Christians were walking in the full power and understanding they would strive to do better. I will not say the they would never sin because that would be a lie. But they would not be proud of their sin, it seems they are missing the main ingredient (Holy Spirit) which would quicken their spirit and also convict them when they are even about to do wrong.

I think the word "sin" needs to be defined, is it a sin to step on a worm and kill it,"Thou shalt not kill." I regard religion as a police force trying to keep people in line.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
