Such a vague question...I don't believe the "relationship" itself works or not...but rather, that the individuals involved in the relationship through desire , & understanding pursue the benefits of the relationship. With a driving force of commitment to work towards the goal. The best realtionships are those where one feels like it isn't work at all. To be in the RELATION ship....in which it feels like one can sail along....enjoying the semblance of tranquility. Sex is good only if the union is complimentary.

I have been made to understand through my own trials and tribulations that the best relationship is with yourself. If you do not have a good , I mean great loving relationship with yourself then you cannot expect to find it outside of yourself. I'm working on that one myself. Often then way that you are treated is a grossly exaggerated example of how you feel about yourself. I've discovered this after going through many men who were even worse off than myself

You sound like a person who cannot commit emotionally, but you only enjoy the sex, and thats fine, so long as you let the person know upfront, and dont allow them to fall in love with you, and relationships do work if you are prepared to work at them.

Your question ?
There are relationships that do work. My parents have been married for over 50 years and they have 12 children, all still living and 22 grandchildren. My father is past 73 and feels that he and his wife have been very blessed.
This was the first and last marriage for both............amen.

I'm gonna go one step further and say that not only is the sex good, but it is enough. What more does a guy need from a woman?
