I would consider myself to be a fool if I trusted someone who had already done something to spoil it.
I have heard that the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. Someone who cheated on me, would have to build a new past, over time. Whether or not I would ever trust her again would be mostly up to her, not me.

Just follow your heart. I would say don't trust them ever again. Cheating is the worst thing you can do to a person and I don't know if I could trust them ever again. But if they are the one...then you'll know and you'll be able to forgive and trust them again. If you can't...then honey it's not worth it! You can always find someone that will love you and be faithful to you.

sorry, i feel different from these people. I think that people cheat for a reason. When you find out that reason... then you decide whether you can give the other person what was missing. if the answer is no, then the relationship is over. he will cheat again. but if you can give him what he needs then you should be able to make the relationship work.

You don't trust them at the level you once did but can trust them again. But you have to learn to forgive first.
