Will I be able to fly the helicopter of my preference, once I become a fully qualified WO Rotary Wing Pilot?

Or they will just assigned me right away according to the Army's needs?

No choice here (though you will get a chance to request) - "Assigned according to the needs of the Army" - sounds like you have heard that before; in this case it's true.

You can request anything you want in the military but they put you where they want you. Only thing I got was the side of the country I wanted not the base. Good Luck!
