Date other guys. Rebound remedies the aching, regrets, guilt, and worries.

Your prof. probably acts smitten with his students often. He's on stage. Teachers are like performers. Actors love to be loved. They're power fantasies.

Whether or not you pursue, the rotten drawbacks are politics involving the other students and faculty. It's a challenging position to be in.

Unless he professes undying love for you, and jumps through acceptable hoops to prove it to you, he might just want to score.

I've had ridiculous propositions from a teacher offering me A's in classes I didn't have to take or finish. It was awful. Obviously I rejected him and took the consequences. The rumors were horrible.

Weigh your steps!

Sorry, it never works out. I am sure he is older than you and you say he is not married. Well how can you be sure?
Teachers who are lonely can get attracted to students but it is not healthy for either one.
Why, go for something you can not have for the long run?
There are so many cute single guys out there you dont need this man. Many women put teachers on a pedestal and look up to them and then it goes on to infatuation.
Drop him and move on.

Have no idea what you are asking or trying to tell us.

I think the person may have taken advantage of you.....because you were a student (young and dumb), and now you think it's ok.

Hey would you do that to a kid....much younger than yourself?...just think...he did....it to YOU!
