I made all my bridesmaids gift baskets from Bath and Body Works. And matching necklaces. I probably spent 150 total.

When it comes to the presents for the bridal party, I tend to favour jewelry. However, it doesn't have to be expensive jewelry. My suggestion is to choose either gold or silver plated with a colour that possibly ties into the colour of their dresses. If they are not wearing identical styles, you may have to play with what piece of jewelry they get. For example, if the dress has a halter neckline, you won't want a necklace but maybe a bracelet or earrings would work. If it's a strapless dress, than a necklace would look nice. If your budget allows, you could get each of them 2 pieces of jewelry. One that matches the style of their dress and then an anklet. The anklet makes for a great picture opportunity because I've organized some weddings where the photographer has the bride and the girls in her party group together and then raise their skirts to the point where you could see the anklet. It's a nice fun shot and it's one of my favourites. If you want to see what I'm talking about in terms of this picture, go to this link:

This is my business' website and it's the second picture on this page is what I'm talking about. Just to let you know, this bride chose not to go with jewelry, but you can picture the shot and how great anklets would look in this.

I had 5 bridesmaids and 5 junior bridesmaids....they all got necklaces to wear on the big day. I got my bridesmaid necklaces through a company called Lia Sophia (try looking it up online to find a rep near you)....they have great deals on good jewelry....usually, you buy one, you get 2 half price and the 2 half price ones are the most expensive ones, not the other way around like most places. Have a home party (it's like Home Interiors, Pampered Chef parties, if you're familiar with those) and save even more cuz the more you sell at your party, the more free stuff you get!

Good luck!

A typical bridesmaid gift would be a necklace or earrings that can be worn with their bridesmaids gowns. It's what I gave my bridesmaids and what I received in both weddings that I've been a bridesmaid in. Hope this helps.

You want something that they will have forever, jewelry is usually the gift of choice...but not everybody wears gold, some wear silver, or costume jewelry... so here alternative suggestives:

- Nice Dress Black Shawl - Every woman's wardrobe needs one.
- Chain with Pendant (silver/gold mix)
- Nice Photo Album... with satin cloth finish..

You can always mix up gifts to give to each lady, that you best feel fits her personality.,

You should get them all matching necklaces or bracelets for them to wear during the wedding...something that will go with their dresses and that they can wear again. A simple pearl on a silver or gold chain (whichever goes better with the dresses)...

get some little gift bags from a dollar store and fill it with some goodies. Like small perfume bottle, and other little nick nacs that catch your eye.

Or you could by some cheap lockets and have your wedding date engraved on it and inside put a picture of you and your to be husband.

or buy each of them a charm for a necklace or charm braclet.

I actually bought my bridesmaid's their dresses. They were so thankful! My best friend took all of us to a spa for massages the morning of the wedding....that was great, too!

Buy each of them a book on a subject they would like. On the title pages, write each of them a nice, personal note.

Cold hard cash
or a gift card
They have probably spent at least $300 on things for your wedding.
