For the last 6 months, we talk almost everyday via text messaging..sometimes for hours. We hang out alot, laugh all the time, everytime we go out to eat, he pays for me even though I tell him not to. Everyone who knows us keeps asking us if we are together. Last week we ended up txting some pretty spicy stuff and didn't talk for 3 days after that. I love him to death and want more with him but he's said many times that he doesn't want a g/f when referring to other chicks. Last nite, he told me I needed to get a boyfriend to pay for my dinner - out with 10 others - and I asked if he was offering and he handed me the cash. But no kisses..nothing. if i joke about hookn up with someone else, or gettn some he says go for it. Does he want more than frienship?
Should I tell him I want more? What would happen if he said no? Would it ruin the friendship?

It's been a year since they broke up..we really aren't friends anymore. She cheated on him the entire time - 2 years.

Just be honest with him. That is the best thing you can do. I am not sure what he is doing but it seems like he is playing a little hard to get. Good Luck.
