He's sweet and funny and smart and all that good stuff and all we've done is talk and kissed once, but how do you tell what he's in it for?

The fact of the matter is that it is in a man's nature to want to be intimate with you. As a female, if waiting is what you want to do (and should do) you have to make him respect your wishes.

If he gets upset because you don't want to have sex, then you know that's all he wanted in the first place. This happens to me quite a bit and I'm proud that I've said no so many times and glad I didn't give in. The guys stopped calling and I knew for sure all the "you're beautiful, lovely, sweet, intelligent, etc." may be real observations from them, they were hoping to get into my pants. I'm not having it.

The problem is that so many men have the "it" handed it to them on a silver platter that they think all women are that way. In fact many men have told me that women ask them to come over before they ask them can they come over. It's challenging nowadays to get respect but you have to demand it.

You will know if he likes doing things with you and just talking with you and just being around you in general without everything leading to one thing

Cliche but see the way he looks at you. If it is naughty, he wants IT, if it is sweet it is real.
