Yes and No.
Try if you will imagine a Tree with many branches, it starts off at the Trunk ( baby ) At the far end of every branch that comes out of this tree is death. Now let us imagine you are an ant climbing up that tree, when you are on the Trunk of that tree you have no death date, but when you make choices what path you are going to follow, then yes there is a death date for that particular branch.

A man chooses to do hard drugs, has chose a path that has a very close death date, If then later he decides to get help and get off the hard drugs, and get on another path, then his death date will change.

Your death date all depends on what path you choose to take. But know this also, God takes whom He decides to take when He decides to take them.

I don't think so. I think when people first begin to believe in god, they attribute circumstance to an all powerful, overwhelming "Fate".

But my understanding is the miracle of "God" is in giving free will to everyone, and yet still remaining master of the universe. Even the Bible seems to be full of unwelcome events for God...and yet he continually uses those events to fulfill his plans.

Even if God knows the future, I think it would be wrong to say that it is "fixed" like a horse race or a boxing match. I think what we do counts, and the choices we make today influence the future. I think God planned it that way...and he is not afraid of the future.

Well in a way it is fixed, god knows exactly when and where your death will occur, however there are ways to cheat or pervent your own death. If you don't care of your health then chances are you could die sooner than expected, or getting into car wrecks, or having a near death experience can help you cheat death.

Knowing something is not the same as planing it.
God lives outside of time, and can see all of history, so Yes He knows when something will happen, He dose not cause it though.

God knows the day you would be born and also He knows the day we will die. I glade I don't know the day I going to die. We would be thinking about all the time.

All I know is we need to be ready to meet God anytime.

when it is your time, there will be nothing you can do to prevent it. even if you didn't die from lung cancer, you would die some other way. you cannot change the time!
