here are some tips for repairing dry hair:
-use a little milk on it in the shower.
-use more conditioner than shampoo, and i recommend getting a damaged hair product, like Dove.
-mash up and avacado and put it on your hair as treatment right after conditioning. rinse it off after 5 to seven minutes.
-rinse your hair with vinegar 2-3 times a month. it will keep your hair shiny and healthy looking
-never use hot styling products while hair is still wet.
-wash hair with colder water, or bottled water if you want your hair to look REALLY shiny.
-my favourite tip: before going in the shower, brush your hair very well. take your time, and get all knots out. then, over the sink, comb olive oil through your hair, allover.leave it on for 10 minutes. then hop in the shower and wash it out THOROUGHLY, and do not use conditioner, it will make your hair greasy, after using the olive oil. let hair dry naturally. follow this routine once a month to make your hair softer.

Well i actully have that same problem and nothing seems to work, but now for the past 2 days i have layed off the blow dryer and it's looking more healthy. Also it depends on the type of shampoo. I used to use panteine and then my hair looked greasy, then i uesd perell and it totall damage my hair and it turned dry. The best shampoo is salon shampoo, try it1 It leveas your hair silky and shinny

P.S it can be a little pricey, but the results are great!

Wella Cholesteral....comes in a big jar and you can find it at Walgreens, Wallyworld, etc.....cheap too! About $2. Massage it liberally throughout your hair, wrap a piece of saran wrap around your head to keep in the heat, and on top of that, wrap a hot damp towel. Relax for about 30mins to an hour and rinse. Do not wash with shampoo. You'll see results immediately and I do this about once a month. Good Luck and this is the first time I've shared this secret with anyone!

My hair can be quite dry at time. After shampooing I rub olive oil onto the ends, wrap up in a clean towel, leave for about 10minutes then rinse really well.
Also I don't use conditioner, that tends to dry my hair out. I find my hair is mush shinier & managable without it.
Everyones hair is different so experiment & see what works for you.

Try Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. I intended to leave this conditioner in my hair for an hour and then my hair dried and it was perfect without washing it out. So when I wash my hair I don't condition but I leave this stuff in my hair. It expensive but great. One tube lasts a few months

I use "Daily Renewal Treatment: Correct and Revitalize" from Pantene Pro-V. I dye my hair a lot so it gets really dry so I started spraying this into my hair every day after I showered and my hair is much better! It's about $2 at Wal-Mart

Put a shower cap on over your conditioner. Take a regular shower and at the end of the shower remove the cap and rinse the conditioner out. The steam and heat from the shower will help the conditioner get into your hair. After you rinse the conditioner out your hair will feel soft and luxurious.

I hate doing it but I go to a salon and spend extra money on my hair products. I don't buy my products from the grocery store or etc. because that stuff seems to just mess up my hair. If you buy from a salon they recommend appropirate products that seem to do so much better on your hair. So I spend they extra cash just to buy good shampoo, hair spray, conditioner, and etc.

Kerastase Nutritive Serum. This serum is awesome. I use a little of it every day and my hair is the healthiest that it has ever been. Bear in mind that I have to color my hair every three weeks and it is almost to my waist.
