For the most part, I'd say you've built up a tolerance. Be careful because although you're consuming a significant quanity of alcohol, if you don't *think* you're feeling it, you'll end up drinking more and more which is dangerous. You'll think you're not buzzed until the next thing you know you're going from not feeling it to not remembering it the next day.

That said, other things can contribute to the effects of alcohol. Full stomach, drinking lots of other fluids, other drugs/prescriptions, even hormones.

Just be careful. Take some time off from drinking. Your tolerance will be lowered again and you're body will thank you.

I have heard this a million times and I do not think you are becoming an alcoholic, nor am I a doctor. It sounds like your tolerance is increasing though. I think it depends on your metabolism too. I would take a few week or even a month off from drinking to detox your body a bit and then things should get back to normal. No worries :)

Did ya have a full meal before hand? if ya did then it takes longer but its a worrying thought that you are even drinking a bottle on your own that proves you have a problem. I'd never drink spirits on my own maybe a bottle of red wine, vodka is a dead mans game.

You are building a tolerance to alcohol. I would suggest trying something that is not mind and mood altering. Read a book, take a bath, make healthier choices when you have anxiety and it will make a huge difference. If anxiety is causing you problems seek out profesional help too. A good doctor will treat you for you anxiety. I wish you well.

How much is a medium bottle?
A pint? What?
Did you just eat dinner first?

If it doesn't do it for you,
Then you need to drink more vodka,
Or drink something like whiskey.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

It sounds like you are becoming immune to the effects of a low doses of alcohol..I would question why you are drinking so much and honestly ask yourself if your drinking is becoming a problem...just because drugs ( and alcohol is a drug) are legal it doesn't make them any less lethal...I think in writing this question you are beginning to accept you have a problem please seek help ...AA or your family doctor..

Please don't go there, no more alcohol you're body is getting used to it now and you think you want more, you will be an alcoholic before you know it, and this will only lead to liver disease and other alcohol related problems, I'm sure you can do without alcohol and find some other ways to releive you're anxiety find something else to stimulate you.
