I used non-permanent, amonia free hair dye last time. So is it safe to use it a week later again? I want to go a little bit darker.

Most hair dyes like you used actually condition the hair, so, I not feel it will hurt. What I do for my women friends when they want it different after seeing it; is wait until it has grown a little and you begin seeing the color difference at the roots and then I re-dye for them.
Vikki B makes a good point, if you wanting a color that your hair too dark to get, you have to dye it lighter then use the color you want.
Always use a good quality product that has proved itself over the years. This not something you want to save a dollar to do.

When I used to dye my hair, I had to dye it blond, then right away dye it the colour I wanted ( red). My hair was fine. It all depends on how healthy your hair is to begin with.

If you are going darker, I do not see a problem. But use a good conditioner to protect your hair from damage.

I think it will probaly be okay, but be warned onetime my friend did that and the bottoms of her hair fell out so she had like a really short top layer of hair, wasn't cute!

I would think that would be fine. Do a hair detox before you do it and a conditioning treatment afterward. AVEDA has some great products for this.

yea, do wat u want. I really would wait to dye it a bit longer because dying your hair is really unhealthy. Anytime u dye ur hair it would be so just do it whenever u please. I usually dye mine every 3 months.

No I wouldn't.One of my friends died their hair and turned around and permed it and her hair was fried!
