Good luck with your application and be prepared to show your full ties to your country of residence to prove to the consular officer that you are a genuine non-immigrant and not a intended immigrant. Stay focused on your objective and be prepared to answer anything to get that visa you require. Oftentimes those charlatans/consular officers don't give much merit to absolute honesty and sincere character of the applicant but are swayed by some obscure personal feelings of whether they want to grant or decline your application.

dogndhorse is right fill out he I-156 online it will have a bar code you can actually feel the imprint on it ,call and make an appointment you must pre pay for the phone call to make it be ready to prove that you own 1/2 the country have every reason possible to make you want to return home ,pay the fees and hope for the best, (if the officer had a good nite of sleep and a good &&&&&& it will be much easier to convince him/her and it will be granted

I presume you mean for a non-immigrant visa.
