well i've been dating this guy for a while now and hes a great person;funny, smart, handsome but i really dont want to be in a relationship with him anymore,maybe never I never did so how do i break it off?

O.K... i know most people will come with detailed plans and settings and strategies, but i like to keep things simple. You could just go over to him and start of like: hey -his name- we have to talk, this relationship... just doesnt work out.. im really sorry your a great guy and im sorry if this breaks your heart but this cant go on." and than walk of, not briskly but slowly with droopin shoulders and a sad look; which will probably be natural 2 you. if he follows just run of crying or say that you dont want to talk or improvise...

sit and think if breaking up with him is the right thing to do and make up ur mind remember ones this great guy is gone his gone and finding someonelike him might not be easy but anyway if u want to break it off just let him kno ur intentions thats all by the way let him know no hard feelings.

tell him the truth and how u feel if he cares for u he will understand and want u to be happy and not stay with him with no true feelings for him. its hard to break up but look at it as a life experience and we learn from it.
