Is it a good idea or a bad idea? I'd like to know all the good things and bad things--from points of view of people who have had it done, or who know someone who has had it done. I don't care about anyone's "opinion" I just want to know the facts. If you have had it done, is it everything you've thought it would be? Are you happy with them? Please be specific.
Thanks!

Haven't had it done personally, but I've anesthetized lots of women having them done.

Nipple sensation loss is NOT absolute. Talk to your plastic surgeon about different techniques if you decide to go for it.

Here's what I know:

*There are risks with any surgery.
*It takes a while (many months) for the implants to settle. They'll ride high for a while.
*Some women develop capsules around the implants, making them hard. There's no way to tell if you will or not beforehand.
*Most of the women I take care of who had them done (and come back for a different procedure) like them a lot.
*If you're flat chested, it's the only way to not be that way.
*They can look very natural; unless you want to look huge - they can go that way too.
*It's a decision that only you can make for yourself.

Good luck, and don't rush into anything that you're not sure about.

Studies show and my experience with my patients demonstrate that there is a very high degree of patient satisfaction with this procedure; however, you need to be educated on the pros and cons before you decide and also make sure you go to a board cerified surgeon who practices modern techniques.

Go to my website to learn about the important aspects of the procedure:

I actually went the other way, and had my breasts reduced. But, I can tell you that large breasts cause CONSTANT back pain. I dont know how large you are planning on going, but my F cups left me in constant pain and without the ablitity to stand up straight because of the pain.

Also, with breast implants you are going to lose sensation in your nipples. There is no way around it. It is pretty much an absoute with implants. With my reduction, I lost normal sensation in both my breasts and I really miss having it.

Breast Implants surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
