Of course not .... and the answer is as historical as it is spiritual:

The Christian Church lives on - the USSR is dead.

Not really. Though i beleive most religions are at the root cause of most social problems, they outlawed religions that woud have been helpfull to the comunist cause. Then they replaced them with their own flawed dogma which was a religion of its own.
