Do you have an immovable standard that guides you through life's stormy waters?

A massive oil tanker was sailing through stormy seas one dark night. Then the pilot saw a light in the distance and advised the captain. The captain said, 'Signal that we are approaching and they are to turn to port side.' The signal was sent, then the reply came back, 'Advise that you turn to port.' The small light in the distance was getting much closer. The captain instructed another signal, saying 'I am the captain of this ship and I insist you turn to port.' The response to that was, 'I am an able seaman and I instruct you to turn to port.' By now, the light was very close indeed. Furious, the captain flashed back the message, 'I am the captain of this vessel and I demand you turn to port!' Then came the response: 'I am a lighthouse and YOU must turn to port!'

Honesty.....it is the one thing most do not have, though they would nearly always refute the accusation if challenged ,and that in its self is dishonesty. They seem to have alterior motives in everthing they say and do, in business especially. I am a cynic as I have proved on many occasion that the above is prevelant in most people.

So many things really, but as a Pagan I would say that being one with nature and knowing my Gods stand beside me and look upon me as an equal. Also being able to learn new things and ask questions. Knowledge is so very important and I try to learn new things whenever I can.
A light house is a guide and protector, Freya is my protector and guide.

Listen to my inner thoughts for that is were my guidance is most people have guides or angels whatever you want to call them.

When we come into this earth we choose what life we want and there are many protectors on earth as well as a above, the light is a symbol those that are in darkness tend to sway to the light it is natural so for myself i trust on my guiding lights.
