Actually no, you must look really nice! You don't need to lose weight

At 13 it is WAAAY to early to be so worried about it. You likely haven't even finished growing yet! Who knows, you may grow another five inches and suddenly that 104 pounds will be stretched out! You have to consider your bone structure as well...large bones versus small bones. That makes a difference too!

You really need to figure out if you are healthy! Do you eat right - and not too much? Are you active? Are you comfortable in your clothes?

Try dealing with those issues first, then, if you still feel like you are "fat", you had best see a doctor...because only a physician is really qualified to tell you.

I still say, wait until you are older to worry about it...

Most height/weight charts for women begin at 5 feet 100 pounds, & go up from there, 5 pounds for each inch (5'7" would weigh 135 pounds)

Based on that, you are at a perfect weight. Keep in mind, the pictures you see of celebrities & models are showing women who maintain a much lower weight for their height. In many cases, they are depriving themselves daily of the foods they want to eat, in order to keep their weight at a lower point than their body wants.

Body type plays a role also. If you have very light build, you can get away with weighing a bit less than the average person of your height, and vice versa if you have a heavier build.

At your age, it is more important to make sure that you keep in shape. This means different types of exercise to build muscle & tone all the different areas of your body (women dont 'bulk up' with muscle like men do, so building muscle means your arms & legs & torso will look firm, not soft & without shape).

It is good that you are asking these types of questions & looking for feedback. I can say you do not need to lose weight, but if you want to work on your body image & get more toned (without a picture I cant say that you need to), I suggest you talk with your folks about it & maybe work with someone at your local YMCA to get a well-rounded exercise program to help you out.

Make sure that what you are eating is more healthy than junk food, & as you continue to get older, it will help you keep your weight at the right level & make it easier to maintain a toned physical appearance.

Good luck to you!

Are you sluggish? Tired much of the time? Unable to do physical activity? High blood pressure?

Fat is a matter of perspective. Overweight is determined by your BMI or body mass index. When that is 30% or higher, then you're overweight.

According to a body mass index chart that I found your body fat percentage is right at 19%. That is very good. You are at the low end of the scale.
So, you really don't have anything to worry about at all!!! At your age, you still haven't gotten rid of all of your baby fat and your body is going to be changing in so many different ways.
So, don't worry!!!

It sounds like neither. My oldest daughter is 12 and 95 lbs. Skinny as heck so you can't be very big at all.

no you are just right in terms of weight. i'd recommend a daily exercise regiment for about 15 minutes to tone you up.
