Because they would be all for the immigrants and not for the Americans. We need people for the Americans!

There is not a country on Earth which allows a foreign born person to take control of the highest office in the land. Why should the United States of America be expected to go against the Constitution and the wishes of its citizens to be the first?
If you cannot see the logic in barring foreign born nationals from occupying the highest office in the country, then you need some additional schooling. Perhaps a course in World History would be appropriate.

This is why. If you want to change it, you need to change the Constitution of the United States. Specifically you need to amend or annul Article 2. And realistically, no way in hell.
"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

Aside from the fact that it's unconstitutional, there would always be the question of where the person's loyalty lies. That's why the president has to be born in the U.S.A.

Because you have to be born on American soil. Not necessarily WITHIN the borders of the 50 states. American military bases in other countries are considered to be American soil.

Simple enough, because there loyalty would be split, and we dont want a president that is not 100% loyal to the american people. even though truthfully bush is only loyal to himself.
