You are a very thoughtful and kind daughter. When I think of Mom, I think of comfort food. What about a traditional pot roast, cooked very slowly and for a long time? Add carrots, onions and potatoes. Then make the gravy. Mmmm! Now you're making me hungry. Good luck.

Here's what I would make for your mother :

Make a meatloaf
Mashed potatoes
A vegtable
A bread , such as dinner rolls, and of course you have to have a dessert ... A piece of cake or pie is alway's yummy !!!!

Ground beef, cream of mushroom soup (1 can); french onion soup (1 can); noodles.

Brown the beef, drain the fat, add both cans of soup (no need to add water); Make noodles, add the meat and soup mixture.

It's really good. You can add any extra veggies you wish. It's a filling and quick dinner.

Good luck!

How about a nice fish pie. White fish in cream sauce topped with mash and baked in the oven.

How about baked or poached fish with sauteed veggies and wild rice? Nothing hard or crunchy, yet tasty, healthy and filling.
