There are several locations of Monoprix within the city. They are easy to get to. Products range from fresh pastries, food, beer/wine/liquor, some women's clothing, and various other things like toiletries, batteries, plasticware, even greeting cards. Prices are good. Have fun!

yep, they are all over. I stayed in a small studio apartment in Montmartre for a week and there was a small grocery store just up the street. I bought snack items.

I rented the apartment via this website. For all of their apartments they advise their clients where to find grocery stores, Tabacs, metro stops, and anything else you may want to find.

Probably "Monoprix" and "Leader Price" chains are the ones that can be considered economical and easy to find. Leader Price is cheaper, but it does not carry any brand products, Monoprix has a bigger choice.
