Probably as this sounds like how he gets attention. I guess if you informed him that if this immature behaviour continues than you will be seeking the solace of others he may try to alter it a bit, but in all honesty it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Tell him how much it turns you off and that he embarrass you in public etc. Good luck.

If he was like this when you met him. Odd's are this will always be who he is.. People can only do what you allow them to do to you.. Essentially you've accepted his behavior because you are still with him.. Maybe you need to make the decison of whether you want continue to accept his behavior.. Guys are more upfront than women give them credit for. He has already let on that he's not interested in marriage.. Discuss this with him. Decide if you alright with continuing a long term relationship without the idea of marraige in the future.. Tell him you want marriage or its over. But, you have to figure out if he's whole heartidly marrying you. YOu don't want a marriage to start out with issues. If he marries just to keep you, that can be painful to the relationship

If immature at 42 he is not likely to change.
Question? When you first met.....was he like this? If so how did you feel about it then. He kind of stuck out from everyone else didn't he. Now it is only an annoyance.
If what I say is true you can better believe that in spite of what you say he thinks it still is attracting you.
Of course if he only started this after he knew you for awhile then now you are seeing his true personality.
Sorry but you better find a mature 25 year old and move on.

Tell him that it bothers you. Tellh im you want a mature man. And ask him why he does this? Does he have a mental illness or something? I'm not trying to offend you i'm being serious. He might grow up later in time. Licking you in the face???? Me and my boyfriend to it like once every like 5 months just to joke but... pry not like that lol. Just talk to him.

I believe he'll keep behaving this way, at least for a long period of time, if not for ever. Perhaps one day something important (like children or marriage) may happen in his life and grow up.but it very much depends if he will ever want this.
