Your morals are the code you profess to live by, your ethics are how well you actually live by them....that's what my grand dad used say...........or.... " Ethic's are how you behave when no one is looking" , a quote from Frasier Crane's dad, ....I should probably find better sources to quote from,lol

Don't know. I thought they were much the same thing. Maybe "ethics" is how you behave towards other people and "morals" is the way you behave for yourself??

you can have a form of ethics just by following the societal rules... but to have true ehics you must have morals... morals are internal, ethics are external

ethics is where morals are teached. ethics is a subject. morals are virtues.
