On a lot of the websites I have visited the competitions have already closed. Alternatively any good cat magazines with a mailing address.

Unfortunately, at the moment it is only up until September.
The cat magazines Your Cat & Cat World in the UK often have photo competitions (where you pay an entry fee) listed in the classifed ads in the back. Unfortunately, I don't have a current copy but current issues should be available in a newsagents.
Or try the photography magazines - they generally have regular competitions - some of which may be suitable for you to submit your cat photos.

Why don't you try www.betterphoto.com ? They don't have specific cat competition, but they have a pet competition; also you can get expert photographers to critic your photos. It is an active websites and also other people can se your photos. The free version lets you enter in any contest, also gives you a mini photo gallery of max. 30 photos.
