Not at all. In fact it's one of the states with the least amount of obese people.
When one first goes to Colorado, the lack of oxygen makes one a little lazy because movement (eg, going up the stairs) can make one pant a little. But by 2 weeks you get used to it and are just as active as any other person.
When someone living in higher altitude goes back to sea level, they have more energy as well, because to them there is a surplus of oxygen.
