should i be worried? As a little girl my 4th child was always sining it was a pleasure to listen to BUT now she is grownup and a great mother to her child But she still sings out very loud in the middle of a family get together she stood up ,and out of the blue at the top of her voice sang i,m a little T pot ,then another time she started running up & down my street singing, another time she got on my coffee table and sang her heart out holding a brush. This may sound funny but i think she may not realise that this is not the way grown ups act, how can i tell her without hurtting her feelings. sue

I wouldnt be worried at all. Its great that she feels happy and confident enough to sing like that. I think we all need to find the inner child in us sometimes but if its embarrasing you maybe you could point out that whilst you enjoy her singing not everybody does. If that fails next time she bursts into song...join her you never no it might shock her to silence, u might even find that ur enjoying yourself! Either way you deserve a pat on the back for bringing up wot sounds to me like a fun-loving free spirit.

Why are you worried. You have said she's a great mum so must be mature and organised. Hey, if drink and or drugs aren't involved then let it be. It's part of her and there are far worse ways she coud behave that you would REALLY be embarassed about! If you have an occasion coming up that is worrying you and you don't feel it would be appropriate the only things you can do is a) not invite her b) ask her with good humour to lay off it a little. You can explain that you know it's your problem, and you wish you could let your hair down as much some times but you can't help it because of your reserve you get embarassed. Let her know you love her though regardless.
I'm not getting on at you by stating that its your problem, it's just a way of approaching her!
Now there's making a show of yourself and there's making a show of yourself, just be than kful she's not out there misbehaving in a very public way and enjoy her company, it'll keep you young!

MAYBE SHE IS A HAPPY GO LUCKY PERSON LIKE MYSELF! I LOVE TO SING AND ACT GOOFY IT SOMETIMES MAKES OTHERS AROUND ME LAUGH AND FEEL HAPPY OR HAVE A GOOD TIME OR GET IN A GOOD MOOD! MAYBE SOMETIMES SHE DOESN'T REALIZE THAT SHE HAS TAKEN IT A LITTLE TO FAR! I AM GLAD TO KNOW THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE THAT DOESN'T TAKE LIFE TO SERIOUSLY!
