i have a philips digital camera the camera will come on the screen lights up everything seems fine but when i try to hit the what snap button to take the pic its like the snap button is stuck or it just wont move and it wont take a picture whats the problem.

time to retire the camera bud.

the shutter release button won't reset for some reason.

its based on electronics so you are better off buying a new one.

Remove the batteries and memory card. Turn the unit on with these removed and let it sit for a few minutes. Then put the batteries and card back in and turn it On. Then take a picture.
I used to have to do this every so often with my Nikon Coolpix, it sounds funny but it works. If this doesnt work it's time for a new camera.
