I am not understanding , what it mean to be an atheist? My question is Why should one person or one group get to descide the laws or rules ? For an example the word GOD offends people so they need to take GOD and every thing to do with religion out so some one else can talk and avertise and show off their beliefs. What i am trying to say why cant i talk about GOD to my friends where ever i want and the athiest talk about their beliefs where ever they want instead of just one religion get to descide. I mean if it offends you go some where else . This is getting out of hand now in california a college has bandrd the pledge allengence because of the two word "under God." in it .

ok for the people that put "Allah" in their answers please do research before you make your self look like a complete idiot
because read this : (Allah is the Arabic language word referring to "God", "the Lord" and, literally according to the Qur'an, to the "God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" in the Abrahamic religions. It does not mean "a god", but rather "the Only God", the Supreme Creator of the universe, and it is the main term for the deity in Islam. However, "Allah" is not restricted to just Islam, and is used by Christians and Jews in some regions.) AND I AM A CHRISTIAN
SEE YOU ASK FOR RESPECT WELL WHAT ABOUT US CHRISTIANS

There are different gods. Would you like the Pledge of Allegiance to include "under Allah" or "under Vishnu"? No? Well, then you should know what it means to respect the idea that there are people who don't want a god they don't recognize in government affairs.

Let's not forget the US was founded by Christian people looking for religious freedom. I've never heard of anyone moving to a country where the people are mostly muslim and demanding they change their laws to accomodate the newcomer's beliefs.

An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in ANY higher power.

eVEryone is entitled to their own set of beliefs and free to practice their own religion of the world. Just do not impose on others your beliefs/practices or seek to coerce others to embrace the religion with threats of doomsday or the like. Most importantly, do not annoy people talking about GOD all the time. To the atheist let them say what they want. They are at best lost sheeps. They will find their own way soon..

It is one of the signs of the times that Jesus spoke about and yet they still refuse to see,Christianity is seeing the worst form of persecution ever, that of modernism, that tries to replace the worship of God with that of man,and is the cause of the ills of the world.
Christians need to hang in there and not be discouraged as Jesus promised `I am with you yes even to the end of the world`,
let this be our hope and comfort.
