I had been dating my boyfriend for 5 years. In general, we got along very very well. we rarely faught and he treated me very good. However, he broke up with me about 5 times. This most recent time he broke up with me saying it was because he is Jewish and Im not and we will never be able to marry so whats point of going out any longer.He said the other times he broke up with me for the same reason but never really said it. He said he has a lot to think about and just needs space because he never wants to hurt me again and he just wants to be "sure". So hes not saying its completely over, but hes not saying we will work out either. When i try to communicate he freaks out. He basically is pushing me away, while saying he loves me! My friends say "Ditch him" But its so hard because i really really love him. And what makes it worse is that he says "I love you. I know I do. I would marry you today.. But I just want to be sure" What do I do? How do i fix the situation?! Any tips?

well if you love him them try counciling.
religion is a serious problem just turn the tv on and look at the world!
All these wars are started by religion.
If two people can get counciling thats a good start to world correction!

It's true. Jewish and Christians cannot marry outside their religion, if they are devout and faithful followers. Instead of wanting him to struggle and go against his religion, why not consider exploring Judaism? Have him pray for you as you find out more about God. Good luck and bless you two!

Perhaps he is trying to seed the idea with his guys at home. Ideally he shud hv done it b4 u guys went so long ahead. Anyways let him try and do it. If he doesnt get good vibes then this is the time u guys shud walk back in ur relationship.

Sorry to say this,but if he loves you he accepts you for who you are. You can't be a bananna if you are an apple. You would only make a second rate bananna. Find another apple that accepts you for who you are and you can make pie in the sky together.

Ditch him orgive him his time and space.But, If it still doesn't work then move on.I'm sure he loves you but he's afraid that it might not go right because he Jewish and I don't think he's ready.

oh please, anyone can get married. it makes no difference what religion you are, or color you are. get real ! he,s only using you, if you know what i mean, he wants some space, give him some space. about 60 years worth of it. ditch him, he,s a loser.
