i have always said i would never take it if someone cheated on me, now someone has and i still love him???

often we can confuse love of someone with love of who we wish they were, what we think they can be,,,
and i know when i was younger , i thought i had to be with someone i loved, in spite of problems such as cheating,,,
you didnt say your age, but its probably not that your weak, just young. we women are geared to hanging on, hoping for the best, being true to those we love etc,
you need to realize that you can have feelings, and love for someone,, yet recognize that they are not good for you, that they dont love you, atleast not in the same way you love them.
its hard, i know, but you do have to see that anyone that would cheat on you doesnt love you! no matter what they say,,,,, its the same as someone hitting you,,, in this case they are hitting you emotionaly, so they are only thinking about their selfs,
hopefully you can get to the point to say,,,,, there is nothing i can do to fix this relationship,, i love him, i want him,,,, but he isnt good for me, and im going to leave him over there!

You don't love him, you like the idea of being with him....now stop it, stop it. Unless you have a tattoo on your head that says weak and easy I don't think you are.
Look, there are a whole lot of guys out there and who says you have to fall for one who treats you like crap???
If you had a daughter, picture it, like 10 years from now, is this a guy you would encourage your daughter to go out with???? I am trusting the answer is no, well if it isn't good enough for her, then why is it for you?..good luck. Get some spirit, don't take this, I am sure you know you are better than this.

You know, this is something girls misread a lot. Often time, when a guy cheats on a girl and the girl stays with him... it's not because she loves him. It's because she's dependent and is afraid of change and afraid of stepping back into the world of singledom.
I think it's wonderful that you let him off this one time because forgiveness takes strength, but when he does it again... leave him!
Honestly, if you have great self esteem and look optimistically in regards to dating.. you are young and you should explore the world and not tie yourself down anyways!

I don't think you're weak. I understand how you feel cause love never dies and when you really love someone chances are you'll be quick to forgive them and hope they'll change. If you really love him, take him back and see if he does it again. Set your boundaries and let him know that he can never do it again. If he does, too bad. let him go, that only means he doesn't love you.

common, if u really like to be cheated then stay with him, once he cheat and u can take it, his gonna cheat again and again... thats the truth... so if u weak juz once cheated, so forget abt still love him,, u hv to be strong to take him back, coz u gonna face this cheated things not juz once but more to come.

well he is your ex now so I assume that you did dump him. Maybe you don't still love him, you might just really miss that feeling of loving someone, try and find a new guy.
