Every morning between 4 and 5 AM, my Husky starts whining. I try to ignore her but the whines will continually get louder until she is yelping. I get up to let her out thinking she needs to go, but she only sits outside the door. She then will start "talking" like Huskies do but she has food and water. How can I train her to wait until the sun is atleast up before wanting out of her room? I would ignore her but I have kids.

She is 10mo. old and she isnt an only dogs. We also have a Beagle who goes to her room at 9pm each night. The beagle NEVER whines to be let out. She waits patiently until we get up, but the Husky hasnt any patience. I love my dogs but we want them crated each night so having her sleep with me is not an option.

A firm "no" when she starts to whine that early. And continue to give her the"no". Don't ignore her, she needs to be told that this is not acceptable to you. Stop taking her out too at that time. Push up going out by a 1/2 hour or an 1 hour if you can, a little bit more every few days until you can get her on a new routine.Take her out at night before bed as late as you possibly can. Stop all food and water around 6 pm as well. So late pit stop outside shold be at least 10 or 11 if you're up that late.Good Luck

A husky is a very high energy dog. The only way to get her to sleep better is to keep her busier during the day. Your dog needs more exercise, more playtime, and more mental stimulation. If your dog is sleeping all day then she just won't want to sleep at night.

Trying to deal directly with the noise is unlikely to do any good until you tackle the root of the problem. Unfortunately you have chosen a difficult and high-maintenance breed.

You nuke it in the microwave for a jiffy (the instructions help you comprehend techniques long) and it gets heat. you are able to positioned it decrease than the bedding this is going to stay heat for as much as eight hrs. With some blankets to snuggle in, that would desire to maintain her heat and toasty.

She wants out of "her" room the minute you put her in there.
She wants to be with you so let her be. Sounds like a lonely dog to me.
