Pork mince holds more fat. You can buy beef with virtually no fat, just costs a bit more. Try a near-veggie version of it. Just use a little mince, and bulk it up with more mushrooms and tomatoes

Depends on what has been minced. A lot of pre minced meat contains oodles of fat. Buy good lean meat and mince it yourself then either pork or beef will make a good meal as long as you do not eat too much!

The best way to make sure the meat is lean is buy the meat and mince it yourself, this way you can be sure it is lean. Whether pork or beef it doesn't matter, lean meat is lean meat, so what counts is the taste. For spag bol, choose beef, it's tastier. pork tastes great in chinese cooking.
