Hi guys,

Im looking to buy a shotgun so I can combat train with it on my land. I looked at this website:

http://www.ukgunroom.com/

And there are hundreds of different types of shotguns.
What kind of shotgun would be appropriate for the use Im planning to put it to?

Also, is there any difference in power (stopping power) between a two-barrelled shotgun and a semi-auto pump action shotgun?

huh? Try joining the Army or TA if you want combat trained. Shotguns are seldom used for combat. I have FIBUA experience and we used them to blow hinges off for quick room entry when a door is locked. I have also used one in Jungle training but it was single barreled pump actioned.

Do not what ever you do cut the barrell of the weapon as this renders it instantly illegal and could get you 5 years in prison.

I'm thinking you need to calm down a little bit, something as benign as David M's remark and you post THREE harrassing "questions" because of it, one is a death threat?? The last thing you need is a firearm, the 1st thing you need to do is calm down, seek anger management counselling and forget about buying a shotgun, you'll end up in jail becuase it's obvious you cannot control your rage.

Hi there, there are a few legal issues you have to be aware of regarding the type of shotgun used for "practical shotgunning/combat" and requirements regarding the land it is being practiced on. To that end I have included URL link for you to pertinent sites (police, parliament, gun company, clubs etc).
Personally I like a Mossberg 12 bore(gauge) as for the shot used double 00 gives a nice tight pattern, but read up on it and find the gauge of shot that suits you best.

I always buy a cheap semi-auto 12 gauge that can shoot double00 shot and cut the barrel down to 15 inches, shave off the stock and leave the handle. Get a nice holster and you got a mean handgun for instant persuasion.

Or Get a Browning
