Hi there...our responsibilities to our pets is to ensure that the receive appropriate vaccinations, proper medical attention if they are ill or injured, kept safe away from common dangers whether indoors or outdoors, fed a good diet to sustain their overall long-term health and provide them the emotional support needed to keep them happy. The same as for a child because that's what they are. If you don't care if an animal is hurting or needs help, then find another way to occupy your time.

it is the owners responsibility to ensure that a pet, is fed , watered, has adequate warmth and shelter. recieves proper medical treatment when in need...and is in genral kept pain free and in a happy mental state.
