"What separates us as believers in Christ is much less than what unites us." (Pope John XXIII)
Almost all important doctrine is completely agreed upon between Catholic Christians and other Christians.
Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):
By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.
There are many minor doctrine issues and some major cultural traditional differences which, I believe, do not matter that much.
A Catholic worships and follows Christ in the tradition of Catholicism which, among other things, recognizes that Christ made Peter the leader of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor.
With love in Christ.

Christians is an umbrella term for All Catholics and Protestants (Presbyterians being one denomination).
I'm a Presbyterian, and every week we say the Apostles creed, in which we say " I believe in the Holy Catholic Church". THis shows you that we believe in basically the same things as Catholics, we just have been going about it in a slightly different direction since the time of the Protestant Revolution.

Catholics and Presbyterians are both Christians. Catholics tend to follow James more while Presbyterians, like all Protestants, lean towards Paul's writings. James tends to stress good works to be saved while Paul stresses just believing to be saved.
All writings, of course, were written decades after Jesus died, if he existed at all. So, neither have much chance of reflecting anything that Jesus actually promoted. It was common in those days to make up stories about past figures, adding whatever agenda you wished to promote.
Paul comes from a more gnostic background, which explains his more non-materialistic approach.

Both Catholics and Presbyterians are Christians. They are different sects of Christianity, but essentially believe in the same tenets. They worship the same deity in a different way and neither recognizes the validity of the other.

Non-Catholic Christians claim we're saved by faith alone.
Presbyterians aren't really sure.
Catholic Christians know that it's God who saves us.
