Ford Ranger Rims

The bolt pattern is the same on Explorer and Ranger. However, the Explorer rim is a 15 x 7 M/H offset. The 2-wheel drive Ranger comes standard with a 14 x 6 L/M offset rim and the 4-wheel drive Ranger comes standard with 15 x 6 L/M offset rim. There should still be plenty of room to make the switch on either vehicle, but I would install one rim on the front and check clearances before installing the other three.

They should. The ford explorer and the ranger are mid sized vehicles built by ford so there wheels are basically universal. Easy way to find out is to take a tape measure and measure your wheel studs the 2 that are directly across from each other. Make sure you measure center to center. Then measure the holes on the rim the same 2 that are across from each other center to center. My brother has a ford explorer and he bought after market rims for his but he got ones that were made for a ford ranger because he liked them better. Just make sure there the same size 14, 15, 16 inch rims.

i have a 2000 ford explorer 4x4 with 15 inch wheels and tires. then i have a ford ranger with 14 inch rims and tires that is only a two wheel drive i put an explorer wheel on the ranger it fits the stud holes perfectly but the center hub whole on the explorer rim is a bigger hole. can we still use the explorer rims on the ranger or is this dangerous?

As long as the bolt pattern lines up, just make sure your tires are the right size.
