Could be Shingles...does it follow a nerve? Or is could just be really dry skin. My best guess it that it is nerves, that is why I originally said Shingles. It usually itches and burns too, but the itching, crawling feeling never goes away. If it is this, you will need to see a doctor to get a cream and perhaps a medicine for it. Another suggestion would be to ask your pharmacist.

Do you have red track like marks or rash? At work we had an abrack of this thing that the name isn't comming to mind at this min. The residents had scrapping of there skin done and it was found that the did have this thing. we have to wash them with this cream and also had to change there beds every day. It was these little might thing under the skin.

I have a similar thing on my left ankle, it itches like crazy and when I scratch it makes it worse. I was advised it maybe stressed related but, my advice is do what I'm going to do next week, see a doctor.

Sounds to me like it's a nerve. I always go to a chiropractor and get an adjustment. That takes care of it until i need it again.
