That when one of your children gets a flu virus or something the other ones get it?is there anyway to prevent it from spreading,other than wiping things down with Lysol disinfectant spray?

A good time to teach them all about proper handwashing, that will help immensly. Person to person is more common than viral surface exposure. Good handwashing is your first line of defense against colds and flu.

You would only be postponing the inevitable. Whenever we or another large family had measles, etc., our mums would put us all together in the same bedroom with the sick child so that we would all catch it at the same time. It helped to build up immunity against some of the dangerous sicknesses (ie. rubella, measles etc.,)if they occur in later life. So far it seems to have worked..............
