Dear clueless:
1. why are you running Limewire, when the original Frostwire is totally complete? Limewire is a crippled version.

Answer to Question: You could delete it from the START menu.

or, You could run a LiveCDrom that runs Frostwire, http://pclinuxos.com , only when you activate it in the menu or tool bar...

Go to Start - Run

Type msconfig

Then Ok

Once the System Configuration Utility has opened, select the Startup tab

Find Limewire in the list of programs and untick it's box.

Click Apply, then OK.

You need to reboot your PC, the first reboot you will get a message stating your configuration has changed just agree to with it and it will not show again.

NO MORE AUTO STARTING OF LIMEWIRE! yahoo!

None of the above replys will actually stop the new limewire from starting the second an internet connection is used ..... aside from program removal!

in the options go to start up options and deselect the "start up when windows start" box
this method is the same with alot of programs,as some software makers seem to think we want their software to spring on our screen when we switch on our p.c
i use limewire and to be honest i found it the safest file sharing program avalible,there are others but most of them are crippled by spyware and viruses

go to preferences or settings in limewire and deselect 'automatically start up when i turn on my computer'
