I need to know the time it would take for a helicopter to fly direct between london (any airport) and lake district (any airport) PLUS I need to source this information (e.g. web address / URL). Many thanks everyone I really appreciate your help!

I think you may find this a bit too far for a helicopter unless you have a twin engine job and a bit uncomfortable over this distance. A Beech Super King would need about 1 hour 20 mins even a Cessna Citation would only be about 10 mins or so less. Nearest airport Barrow in Furness, about 45 mins drive into the Lakes. From London, say Denham (not using a Citation, though)

Actual flying time of commercial airlines from London to all English airports, all Welsh airports, and southern Scottish airports is no more than 45 minutes. This comes from flying domestically several times within the UK. I do not know how this relates to helicopter flying times.
