In Islam God has 99 names or tiitles. Allah simply means God widely used. The remaining names are discriptions of Hiself, like:
The Mercyful, the Mercieset (if you cannot say that in English it means the one with the utmost mercy or no limits for forgiveness) the Great, the First (one there), the Last (one standing), the Foreverlasting, the Generous, the Creator, the Re-creator, the Light, the Truth, the Supporter (supporting people), the Forgiving, the Forgivist, the Obvious, the Unseen, the Witness, the Judging, the Highest, the One, the Alive, the Knowledgable, the Listner.....

Lord, God, Supreme Being...all these are titles, much like President is a title for our leader in this country when his name is George Bush. God's name is Jehovah, and you can find that information in the Bible yourself at Psalms 83:18

If God has a name then it can't be God. How can you name something that is not created, was never born, is not made up of anything, is eternal? Give up on names. But if you must have one then " Not self but other" would get close enough. WE have done the anthropomorphic thing for long enough! Children love to name things so it's all lovely and personal and non threatening. Are we to remain spiritual children or would we like to grow up and be spiritual adults?

God's name is expressed in a form called the tetragrammation.

The English pronouncement of the tetragrammation is Jehovah.
The Jewish pronouncement is Yahweh, but they don't believe it should be verbalized.

The tetragrammation is found in the Bible over 7000 times, but in most versions, LORD is used in place of the personal name Jehovah

In most all Bible versions older than 1987, you can find it at Ps.83:18
Psa 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Dear inquisitor. If you really desire to know God's name, then take it from God's own lips or mouth Himself. When Moses asked God about His name, God answered Moses and said,"I AM THAT I AM". In Hebrew this is translates as Yahweh. However, God has many names in Hebrew among which are Jehovah, Adonai, and many others that refers to His power in every aspect of Life. The true name of God remains what He himself told Moses: I am that I am.

Under the New Testament God's only name for all believers is Abba Father for all believers are God's sons ie in a Father and son relationship. Jesus advised all his disciples to address God as thier Father in thier prayers to Him. All the Names of God in the Old Testament were used in the relationship of God being God and the children of Israel being His people ie in a God and His people relationship which is less intimate. God now is our Father period

They are translations of the Hebrew. Elohim (el-oh-heem) is translated as God, and Yahweh (yah-way) is translated as Lord.

Sometimes one is used, sometimes the other, sometimes both (Gen 2:14).

Here's a quick past job:

NAMES OF GOD
A vast amount of truth is revealed in the various names for God used in the Bible. An understanding of the meanings of these names is necessary to the full understanding of hundreds of passages.
There are three primary names, indicated in the AV by the use of various type faces. When the text reads simply God, Gen. 1:1, it is Elohim or El in the Hebrew, meaning “the Strong One.” Where the text reads Lord, Gen. 15:2, it stands for Adonai in the original, meaning “master.” Lord or God in capitals stand for Jehovah, “the self-existent One,” Gen. 2:4.
These three primary names also appear in seven different combinations with other names, in contexts of profound meaning. They are: Almighty God, or El Shaddai, “Giver of Strength,” Gen. 17:1; most high, or most high God, or El Elyon, “God the highest,” Gen. 14:18; everlasting God, or El Olam, “the eternally existent One,” Gen. 21:33; mighty God, or El Gibbor, “the powerful One,” Isa. 9:6; Lord God, or Jehovah Elohim, “the self-existent strong One,” Gen. 2:4; Lord God, or Adonai Jehovah, “the Master who is self-existent,” Gen. 15:2; and the Lord of hosts, or Jehovah Sabaoth, “the self-existent Supreme Commander of all the heavenly forces,” 1 Sam. 1:3.
