I always use extra virgin oil as this has the most health benefits and cooks everything perfectly. When roasting veggies I splash some oil over the top of them too. Delicious!!!!

For baking I use Margarine because it has higher heating point before burning than butter.
Lard has the highest heating point of all of them that's why the perfect Yorkshire pudding is made with lard heated until it is smoking then add the batter.

Doesn't make much difference, just use the one you have to hand; We use Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the kitchen.

You do NOT use oil at all when baking vegetables, it totally ruins the taste, texture and colour of the vegetables
