Does anyone know how to re-set the radio code on the above car. The car has been owned by a few people and the code is lost, and I recently had a flat battery and so the code was lost. I don't really want to go to a Renault dealership unless someone thinks it is very cheap.

Almost certainly they will NOT be able to help. I had a Citroen and the same thing happened, they couldn't help, there was no means of getting the code from the manufacturers, don't forget it was set by the manufacturers of the radio, not Renault. It would almost certainly be as cheap to get a new radio then you would have a record of the number.

Give me your vehicle info and radio chassis number by email, I will get radio code for you, there is a small charge £'s if number is available, which can be payed onto my paypal. If required I can then help you program radio, if you are unable too.
Cheers
Andy

This happened to me with a Rover and I don't think the dealer charged me for it. Chassis No. of car and Serial no. of radio and the answer was back in about a day, I think.

surly there is a electronic repair shop in your nearest town or city send them the unit and have them bypass the coding section or purchase an aftermarket unit [even the cheapo's are better than most factory systems] they are all made in Taiwan anyway even the name brand high price units. and no more codes lost or forgotten. you will have to remove your unit to get the chassis number anyway
